Job Summary
Secure leads on units to protect from varnish, use hoists and power lift trucks to move materials, and operate sanding equipment to remove excess varnish. Make decisions regarding setup sequences and process monitoring while maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices. Perform daily and weekly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks and complete required checksheets. Read and write to follow written process instructions and record information as needed. This role involves general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and lifting under immediate supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Read and write
- Follow written process instructions
- Record information as required
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Ability to work under immediate supervision
- Ability to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Ability to use hoists and power lift trucks to move units
- Ability to use sanding equipment to remove excess varnish
- Ability to make general decisions as to setup sequences and process monitoring
- Ability to exercise good housekeeping in work area
- Ability to observe good safety practices in performance of job
- Ability to perform daily/weekly TPM tasks and complete checksheets
