Job Summary
Develop personalized, comprehensive financial roadmaps and deliver integrated wealth planning and investment strategies aligned with client goals across generations. Implement solutions that support key life events, wealth transfer decisions, and multigenerational planning needs using sophisticated planning tools. Build long-term relationships with clients seeking tailored financial guidance while collaborating with peers to strengthen a culture of planning. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (highly preferred), CFP designation (highly preferred), and active FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses. Candidates must have 5+ years of industry experience, with 10+ years preferred. The position offers a base salary of $96,000-$210,000 per year and is located in Glen Allen, VA. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- CFP
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations
- ability to acquire Series 66 upon hire
- 5+ years industry experience in financial services or a related field
- 3-5 years of financial planning experience
- 5+ years preferred
- 10+ years preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral economics and family dynamics
- Outstanding relationship-building skills

- Proven track record of client satisfaction (high Net Promoter Score)
- Deep understanding of investment theory, markets, and products
- Success in fast paced environment
- Experience developing, delivering, and executing comprehensive wealth management strategies including investment management, retirement, tax, and protection planning
