Job Summary
Executive leader responsible for DART’s service development and planning, overseeing research and development of mobility service visions, scheduling and labor allocation, and multi-modal service design across bus, rail, microtransit, and innovative mobility programs. Directs capital programs (parks-and-ride lots, transit centers, bus stop amenities) and local assistance funding programs, collaborates with municipal and regional stakeholders, and represents the agency with the Board and community organizations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field and eight years of senior service-planning experience; proficient in Trapeze, Tableau, GIS, Remix, Microsoft Office; strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects, respond to emergencies, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Location is Dallas, TX on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
- Eight (8) years of related work experience in Service Planning and Scheduling, Service Development, Mobility Programs and/or senior management in transit operations
- Experience directing a professional staff and/or consultants
- Proficiency in software including Trapeze, Tableau, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), GIS, Remix
