VP, Senior Property Account Engineer

Job Summary
Lead risk control initiatives for large and middle-market commercial property accounts by coordinating field consulting services, evaluating exposures, and reviewing engineering/desktop reports to assist underwriting and pricing. Conduct on-site loss control surveys, analyze loss exposures, and provide risk mitigation recommendations to clients and brokers. Drive client engagements, prioritize service assignments, and stay ahead of trends in technology and exposures. Requires an engineering-based undergraduate degree, professional designations (P-Eng., ARM desirable), and ~15 years of risk control experience; travel up to 20% internationally; fluency in Spanish is required to support Spanish-speaking customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and underwriters are essential. Preference for candidates with fire protection experience and the ability to influence clients toward risk mitigation changes.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or another related field
- Professional designations such as P-Eng. or ARM are highly desirable
- Minimum 15 years of insurance risk control experience
- Experience with fire protection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Spanish language proficiency
- Ability to travel 20% internationally
