Job Summary
VP of Sales to lead and scale Medallion Bank’s indirect lending sales organization across home improvement contractors and recreation dealers from Salt Lake City, Utah in a hybrid role. Responsible for owning national sales strategy for contractor and dealer acquisition, onboarding, and account growth; translating objectives into a repeatable operating rhythm; developing role- and segment-specific sales playbooks; driving execution across prospecting, discovery, proposal, close, launch, adoption, and program utilization; aligning with Marketing, Product, Credit/Risk, and Operations; establishing KPI frameworks (pipeline, conversion, time-to-close, activation, utilization, productivity); standardizing activities (calls, emails, proposals, trainings, onsite visits, SLAs); building scripting and talk tracks; creating forecasting rigor; driving Salesforce adoption and CRM automation; partnering to automate lead routing and lifecycle triggers; building dashboards; coaching and talent development through 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and ride-alongs; joining strategic discovery calls and executive presentations; supporting escalations and client lifecycle management; and delivering measurable increases in contractor/dealer accounts, active participation, loan volume, and CRM adoption. Qualifications emphasize 5+ years of B2B sales leadership, CRM/automation experience, and a proven coaching and cross-functional collaboration track.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with 5+ years in sales leadership; indirect lending or dealer/contractor channel experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success building metrics-driven teams and improving conversion, activation, and sales productivity.
- Demonstrated ability to create scripting, playbooks, and repeatable sales processes.
- Hands-on CRM leadership (Salesforce preferred) including workflow design, automation, and reporting.
- Strong coaching capability with evidence of developing reps through call observations and structured feedback.
- Comfort partnering cross-functionally with Credit/Risk, Operations, Product, and Marketing.
