Job Summary
VP, Sales for a Canada-based digital media company in Ontario. Lead and scale a high-performance sales team, develop and execute sales strategy, drive enterprise deals, manage CRM and reporting, oversee compensation and quotas, and represent the company at industry events. Requires a minimum of 5 years in sales leadership, proven success in digital advertising sales, HubSpot CRM proficiency, and strong communication and coaching skills. Remote-first with Toronto-area focus and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Experience selling digital advertising solutions (display, sponsored content, social media, and video)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot, along with strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of social and digital ecosystems (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Demonstrated ability to lead the full sales cycle from planning to negotiation and closure
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and partnership opportunities
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area, with knowledge of local media/agency landscape
- Experience working with media agencies or in media planning is a strong asset
