Job Summary
Own and execute sales strategies for video, social, and event sponsorships, driving revenue growth across YouTube, CTV, streaming, and emerging formats while originating and closing high-value strategic opportunities. Lead sponsorship strategy for brand tentpoles and franchise events, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop, price, and position solutions based on advertiser needs. Serve as the organization's sales subject-matter expert, equipping sellers with market intelligence, playbooks, and training while managing a strong pipeline and forecast. Hire, lead, and develop two event sellers focused on long-tail sponsorship opportunities, establishing goals and performance expectations. Report to the SVP, Sales, with accountability for overall revenue targets and channel-specific goals. This role is based in New York City and requires working in the office four days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital media, advertising sales, sales strategy, or a related field
- significant expertise in video
- strong understanding of YouTube and social monetization and advertising solutions
- Deep knowledge of social video and major platforms, including Meta, TikTok, and X
- knowledge of onsite video, branded content, CTV/OTT, streaming, and programmatic video
- Proven success developing and championing new advertising products, sales narratives, or go-to-market strategies
