Job Summary
VP, GovTech Sales to build and scale government enterprise sales from the ground up; own strategy, execution, and outcomes—driving adoption of CLEAR’s identity platform across federal, state, and local agencies. Lead multi-threaded deals with procurement, compliance, legal, and technical stakeholders; hire and lead a world-class GovTech sales organization; build scalable systems for pipeline generation, forecasting, and deal execution. Responsibilities include defining go-to-market strategy across government segments, achieving ambitious revenue targets, and expanding CLEAR’s footprint across agencies and jurisdictions. Requirements include 15+ years of public sector sales experience, a proven ability to land large public sector contracts, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of public sector sales experience
- experience selling complex, technical products (identity, security, SaaS, or infrastructure)
- track record of landing large, multi-year public sector contracts
- ability to align cross-functional stakeholders across product, legal, and policy
- fluency in procurement processes, compliance requirements, and budget cycles
