Job Summary

Manage a portfolio of commercial loans by soliciting new loans from existing customers and business owners, while establishing new key relationships to increase the book of business. Conduct regularly scheduled business development calls to promote deposit accounts, treasury management solutions, and retail products. Demonstrate strong negotiating skills regarding credit, fees, interest rates, and loan structures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Collaborate with credit administrators to ensure high-quality applications for approval and actively participate in community organizations to represent the bank.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a credit check review
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial lending
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance; or, a combination of Associates degree in Business, Accounting, Finance and 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial lending
  • Must be able to use various Bank related PC applications including, but not limited to the following: Windows, E-mail, SilverLake, Jack Henry, Word processing, EXCEL, Coretrac, and data entry
  • Must actively participate in community organizations through committees or board assignments; attend local community events to represent the Bank and become a member of service group and/or nonprofit organization(s)
