Job Summary
VP, Relationship Manager responsible for identifying and bringing in new loan clients while managing an assigned loan portfolio; negotiate and structure loan terms, prepare and present credit-related documents (CCR/LOI), coordinate with underwriters and support staff through closing, ensure regulatory and credit compliance, and mentor junior officers. Requires strong negotiation, underwriting knowledge, cross-selling ability, and excellent communication in a fast-paced banking environment; bilingual English/Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5-7 years of commercial lending and banking experience
- strong loan negotiation experience
- underwriting experience in commercial lending
- knowledge of Bank's credit policy, risk management, underwriting requirements
- ability to cross-sell commercial and specialty banking products
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to structure loans and lines of credit
- bilingual ability a plus but not required
