Job Summary
VP, Project Manager leads end-to-end execution of complex, enterprise-wide projects within the EPMO, ensuring delivery meets strategic objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. Responsible for governance, charters, schedules, RAID logs, budgets, and executive status reports, driving adherence to EPMO standards. Engages executives across business, technology, risk, and vendor teams; delivers concise, actionable reporting to senior leadership; mentors project managers and AVPs, and champions continuous improvement and innovation in project management practices within a regulated financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of project management experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Leadership of large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives
- Ability to influence at the C-suite level
- PMP/PgMP/PRINCE2/PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster certifications preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with PMIS and enterprise project management tools
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives
- Certifications preferred: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education a plus
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise project management tools (e.g., Clarizen/AdaptiveWork, Monday.com, MS Project, JIRA)
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior leadership
- Proactive, strategic, and innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
