Job Summary
Senior product leader to oversee Aerospike Database and its ecosystem (Database, Backup & Recovery, Connectors, Observability, Kubernetes Operator, and fully-managed cloud components). Drive multi-year technical roadmap, portfolio ownership, and lifecycle execution; translate platform goals into an integrated roadmap across product areas; balance innovation with reliability and cloud economics. Lead a team of product managers, collaborate with engineering, field, marketing, customer success, and design; advocate for user experience improvements; engage with enterprise customers as an executive sponsor; shape developer/operator perspectives and enable friction-free deployment and world-class observability. Emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and operational execution to deliver sustained customer value and market success.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management
- 5+ years focused on enterprise software or data infrastructure in a leadership role
- strong background in distributed systems, database technology, or Kubernetes-based environments
- exposure to self-managed and cloud delivery models
- familiarity with enterprise IT needs including backup, restore, observability, and deployment automation
