VP Product and Solutions for Defense & Intelligence

Job Summary
Develop and implement solution strategies for defense and intelligence customers, providing governance on product design and solution architecture. Lead development and implementation teams while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Collaborate with Program Management, sales, and technical SMEs to drive innovation, manage resources, and support contract acquisitions through demonstrations and proofs of concepts. Ensure all initiatives comply with ITAR, DFARS, and other defense regulations. Maintain a SECRET security clearance and travel to customer locations for project analysis and visioning sessions.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in product development and implementation
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in developing & deploying cloud-based applications
- Must be able to obtain and keep a SECRET security clearance
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in development and project management software and tools
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms
- Extensive knowledge in java programming, relational databases, enterprise application & system integration design patterns
- High degree of strategic thinking and execution
- Inspiring leader with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Proven ability to drive results and achieve goals
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Have the ability to travel to customers location to conduct project analysis, lead visioning sessions and provide technical support to both Business Development and technical implementation teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the defense sector
- Deep understanding of supply chain planning and execution
- Familiarity with defense acquisition processes, standards, and regulations
- Having an active SECRET clearance
- Proven Track Record in strategic planning, supply chain product development, project management, and team leadership
