Job Summary

Senior vice president role leading private label strategy, portfolio expansion, and end-to-end commercialization for Covetrus Brand private-label products in North America. Owns end-to-end portfolio strategy, supplier development, and go-to-market execution; partners cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products, drive revenue growth and margin expansion, and strengthen Covetrus' competitive position. Defines multi-year private label growth roadmap, leads product development and reformulation, ensures regulatory coordination (FDA and veterinary product standards), and drives channel readiness across Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Distribution. Provides strategic advisory to senior leadership, manages a private label P&L, tracks KPI-driven performance, and leads a high-performing team with a focus on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in private label, product management, category management, sourcing, or brand development
  • Proven track record of scaling private label or proprietary product portfolios
  • Strong experience in product commercialization and go-to-market execution
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and complex negotiations
  • Understanding of margin, pricing, and portfolio mix with ability to influence P&L
  • Experience in matrixed, high-growth environments
  • Exposure to regulated product categories preferred (pharmaceuticals/Rx, veterinary compounding under 503A/503B, nutraceuticals, or medical/surgical supplies)
  • Executive communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership capabilities
