Job Summary
VP, Portfolio Relationship Manager for CRE & LIHTC loans responsible for independent financial, credit, and trend analysis for mid-market clients; structures loan proposals, prepares comprehensive credit packages, develops financial models to forecast cash flows, assesses risks (collateral, debt service, covenants), and collaborates with Relationship Managers and Loan Administration to ensure documentation consistency and regulatory compliance. Requires deep knowledge of banking regulations, credit underwriting, and effective leadership to coach and develop team members; travel to on-site client meetings may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and/or related work experience
- Formal credit training and/or Intermediate/Financial Accounting 1 and 2 preferred
- Proficient in Financial Accounting
- Experience in lending, cash flow and collateral analysis and loan structuring
- Compliance knowledge of state and federal regulations including Regulation Z, Regulation B, FHA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/AML, CIP, RFPA, CRA
- Strong analytical, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lead, train and evaluate staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required
