Job Summary
Develop and implement strategies to deepen relationships with national foundations, financial institutions, and family offices while managing all ongoing funder reporting. Oversee a team of fundraising professionals to execute the organization's philanthropic strategy, including custom outreach, cultivation, and stewardship plans. Ensure a robust pipeline of prospects through engagement with members, staff, and industry events, utilizing Salesforce for donor research and tracking. Collaborate with subject matter experts to raise specialized resources for business lines, R&D, and social enterprises, while meeting annual fundraising goals in partnership with network stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 or more years of prior fundraising and project management experience in a high-capacity, philanthropic organization
- proven track record of success raising over $6M annually
- Demonstrated experience leading and evaluating a fundraising function that includes strategy, institutional development, proposal development, donor relationship management, and grant reporting
- Strong verbal communications and excellent writing skills
- ability to craft and supervise development of high-quality proposals, reports, donor correspondence, and other materials that support fundraising
- Experience preferred with raising capital to support business lines or new product development

- Employees outside of the Eastern time zone should generally be available for work from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET
- attend meetings within a typical workday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) in the Eastern Time Zone
- occasionally later to accommodate HPN's and its members' business need
