Job Summary
LP Building Solutions is seeking a VP, Operations Services to provide executive leadership for Manufacturing Services (Procurement, EHS, Quality Assurance). Set strategy, governance, and performance expectations across service functions and align them with plant operations to enable safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing execution. Drive enterprise performance, cross-functional process improvement, risk management, regulatory compliance, and cost competitiveness. Partner with Operations leadership to ensure service delivery is integrated with site priorities, lead talent development and succession planning, and manage operating and capital budgets. Requires extensive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, ability to translate strategy into execution across diverse teams and geographies, and strong executive communication and negotiation skills. This role includes extensive travel and reports to the executive team, with offices in Nashville and oversight across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, including responsibility for large-scale operations, strategic planning, and execution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business or related field
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating in a matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Skill in budget development and management
