Job Summary
VP - Operations in Regulatory & Compliance leads the operational strategy and modernization of regulatory/financial services processes for government SaaS solutions, overseeing recordkeeping, customer contact centers, financial reconciliation, trade settlement, and compliance with IRS/SEC and other regulators. Responsible for process optimization, SOP development, risk management, platform modernization, vendor and budget management, stakeholder engagement, and building high-performing teams including remote staff to deliver compliant, efficient operations for Office of State Treasurers, government agencies, and investors/consumers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in large-scale operational environments.
- Strong skills in vendor management, data analysis, operational strategy.
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in 529, Retirement, or financial services operations leadership.
- Strong fluency in financial processes and management.
- Strategic thinking and long-term change management and transformation leadership.
- Technology fluency (recordkeeping systems, automation tools)
- Exceptional communication with executives and customers
- Regulatory interpretation and application to operations
