Job Summary
Lead the plant to improved safety, quality, productivity and reduction of waste on a consistent and continual basis in each and every process. Manage P&L for assigned locations, including capital and operational budgets; provide guidance to department managers on continuous improvement; collaborate with Sales from an operational perspective to maintain and acquire customers; review and report manufacturing activities; ensure regulatory compliance; mentor staff and drive staffing decisions; motivate teams to meet production goals and schedules; foster open communication with employees and Corporate Staff to improve safety, quality and productivity; support education and training programs and lead leadership development; participate in bonus/incentive programs as applicable; maintain a strong focus on leadership, strategy execution, and organizational growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts, or related field is required
- At least 8 years diversified Management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in print, labels, and/or packaging
- Exceptional team building and leadership abilities
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Quality and continuous improvement orientation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to teach and mentor staff at all levels
- Analytical ability and reporting skills
Desired Qualifications
