Job Summary
Direct U.S. divisions global importing and supply chain security programs, overseeing governance of compliance internal controls, policies, and procedures. Ensure legal compliance and statutory adherence to U.S. and global trade regulations while leading risk management strategies to identify, assess, and manage regulatory risk. Maintain partnerships internally and externally to embed trade compliance into cross-border logistics workflows, engaging with government agencies, regulatory authorities, and external counsel. Apply deep regulatory expertise to make timely decisions across a rapidly changing retail product mix and regulatory environment, optimizing cross-border logistics and global trade systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven history of ensuring auditing programs meet reasonable care standards and post entry filing regulatory requirements
- Expertise in determining applicable government agency filings is complete and meet reasonable care standards
- Prior knowledge and experience working with various office software applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong ability to multi-task, work well in a fast-paced environment, and meet critical deadlines
- Proven ability to build, lead, and coach high-performing teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret trade regulations to the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills, humility, and continuous desire to learn
- Bachelor's degree required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Regulatory Compliance field, including 6+ years leading and managing trade compliance professionals/teams
- Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Broker License
