Job Summary
Vice President of Sales at Kelso Building Services leads the full sales engine for the service division, including new business, account growth, and national accounts. The role owns strategy, targets, pipeline, and KPI governance, and is responsible for building and retaining a high-performing sales leadership bench. It emphasizes converting sister-company projects into long-term preventative maintenance agreements (PMAs), defines target segments and pricing approaches, ensures disciplined Salesforce usage, and partners with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other functions to ensure profitability and growth. The candidate should have 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience with at least 5 years leading multi-team sales organizations, a proven track record in HVAC/MEP/facility services, experience owning the full sales cycle with multi-million-dollar targets, and strong executive-level communication skills. The compensation package includes base salary, performance-based incentives, long-term incentives, and comprehensive benefits; target base salary range is $210,000 – $275,000 with 40–60% target variable and $315,000 – $440,000+ total cash compensation. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience
- at least 5 years leading multi-team sales organizations through directors and managers
- proven track record in HVAC/MEP/facility services sales
- experience owning full sales cycle (new business, account growth, national accounts) with multi-million-dollar targets
- experience scaling a sales organization
- P&L or budget ownership at the sales organization level (comp plan design, quota setting, forecasting)
- strong commercial and financial acumen
- ability to coach and develop leadership
- excellent executive presence and communication
- extensive Salesforce experience
- preferred: PMA/critical environments, BAS, multi-site/PE-backed experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or exceptional track record
