Job Summary
Senior VP of Sales opportunity to own and scale the revenue engine for an omnichannel, consumer health and wellness brand. Build and lead the sales strategy across national and regional retailers, manage key accounts, and construct a route-to-market with brokers, distributors, and field partners. Establish sales operating rhythms, own trade spend ROI, drive in-store execution to convert distribution into velocity, and cross-functionally align demand, supply, and product innovation. Hire and develop a lean sales organization, represent the brand at industry events, and leverage data-driven approaches (POS analytics) to drive growth. Requires 10+ years in sales leadership within retail/channel, strong relationships with major retailers, P&L ownership, and a travel-heavy remit;US-based with travel to HQ and customers. The role offers competitive base, bonus, and meaningful equity.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in sales leadership across retail/channel
- 5+ years in beverage and/or supplements/protein nutrition preferred
- Track record of scaling an emerging brand to meaningful retail revenue
- Current relationships with major national retailers and key regionals
- Strong command of trade and shelf economics: velocity, turns, trade spend, slotting, calendars
- Experience managing brokers and distributors, with strong judgment on when to go direct
- P&L ownership and seven-figure trade spend responsibility
- Startup or high-growth builder: built the function, not just inherited a playbook
- Hands-on, high-urgency operator who thrives in a travel-heavy environment
- Data-driven: POS analytics and tools like IRI/Nielsen/SPINS
- US-based, able to travel to HQ 6-8x per year, plus 40-60% travel to customers
