Job Summary
Directs and oversees the overall operations and site management of Distribution Centers (DCs); negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements; implements and ensures procedures to provide a safe, efficient, service-oriented, and profitable department; leads multi-site DC operations, coordinating shipping, receiving, transportation, purchasing and sales; develops long-term objectives and strategic plans for the operations function; ensures regulatory compliance, safety programs, and performance management of managers and day warehouse staff.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree preferred (or High School Diploma (or GED) and equivalent experience)
- 10 years operations experience
- 5 years of management experience
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: D.O.T. regulations, Labor Relations, Selecting/interviewing/recruiting, Customer Service, budgeting and cost control, knowledge of OSHA, HAACP and other regulations
