Job Summary

Lead day-to-day operations and overall project execution for complex industrial fabrication, installation, maintenance, and erection projects. Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and performance while coordinating with project managers, engineers, shop personnel, field crews, customers, and vendors. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability. Provide hands-on leadership and accountability to operational teams, taking ownership of issues through resolution. Monitor project performance to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, establishing processes to enhance execution. Visit active job sites, fabrication areas, and field operations regularly, wearing required PPE and navigating industrial environments with varying conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in industrial operations, project management, or a related field
  • Experience with steel fabrication, industrial construction, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, rigging, or related operations
  • Proven experience managing complex projects from start to finish
  • Strong technical understanding of industrial processes and project execution
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and operational demands
  • Proven ability to improve operations and deliver measurable results
  • Self-directed and comfortable making decisions with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on, results-driven leadership style with a strong focus on execution and accountability
  • Ability to work in both office and industrial/project environments
  • Ability to regularly visit and observe active job sites, fabrication areas, and field operations
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate industrial environments as needed
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting job sites or industrial areas
  • Ability to work in environments that may include noise, dust, machinery, varying temperatures, and other typical industrial conditions
