VP of Operations

VP of Operations in a Midwest distributed foodservice equipment, supplies, and service distributor. Owns the central operations team (equipment and supplies purchasing directors, fleet manager, central fulfillment and warehouse) to support the branches, focusing on inventory accuracy, delivery execution, warehouse efficiency, and a clean end-to-end order-to-invoice flow. Lead the integration of acquired service businesses into a single network, connect systems, move service orders, and cross-sell equipment-plus-service. Drive adoption of scalable systems by defining done criteria for ERP migration and partnering with IT to move all businesses onto common inventory and operational tools. Earn buy-in from GMs, preserve local, family-level service, and establish a sustainable operating rhythm with KPI reporting. You’ll sit on the executive team, report to the CEO, and influence operations across the portfolio as growth through acquisitions continues.
