Job Summary
VP of Marketing role focused on owning Arketa’s marketing function end-to-end, leading a team across performance marketing, lifecycle, product marketing, social/community, partnerships, and SDR. Responsible for aligning marketing strategy to pipeline and ARR growth, building in-house capabilities (including AI-enabled tooling), and partnering with the CEO, Sales, and RevOps to drive revenue outcomes. Hybrid position with 4 days in the NYC NoHo office; compensation $240k-$280k plus bonus and equity. Key duties include positioning and brand, paid acquisition, lifecycle, partnerships, budget management, forecasting, and team development. Required experience includes 7-10+ years in marketing with direct people management, B2B marketing expertise, and a track record of scaling marketing efforts and aligning spend to revenue, plus hands-on AI implementation and a passion for wellness and fitness.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in marketing
- at least 2 years managing people directly
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Performance and growth marketing roots
- Hands-on experience with AI implementation
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and prioritizing ruthlessly
- Genuine passion for wellness, fitness, or studio operations
- Ability to build and lead a full marketing function end-to-end
- Experience tying marketing spend to pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to executive leadership
- Experience collaborating with Sales and RevOps to drive demos and close rates
- Experience leading teams through periods of growth (3x growth scale) or being an early leader at a comparable stage company
- Ability to own a function end-to-end and partner with a founder CEO
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to own a marketing model that ties spend to revenue
