Job Summary
Lead aerospace manufacturing operations as Vice President of Manufacturing. Provide strategic leadership to the manufacturing team, develop and implement manufacturing strategies and policies to optimize production, reduce costs, and improve quality and delivery. drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma, collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with customer requirements, and build a high-performing team focused on excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Skills emphasized include strategic leadership, manufacturing processes and automation, Lean/Six Sigma, cross-functional collaboration, cost and delivery optimization, quality management, and people development. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering (MBA preferred), extensive executive manufacturing leadership experience (aerospace favored), and strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
- Proven executive leadership and management experience in manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and quality management systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Visionary leadership style with a passion for driving innovation and delivering results
