VP of IT and Cybersecurity

VP of IT and Cybersecurity to build and lead the IT and security function at ACS from the ground up. Own day-to-day IT operations, help desk, government compliance (CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR), and security architecture for a rapidly scaling defense startup. Role requires hands-on technical depth and the ability to set strategy, build teams, and operate in a complex regulatory environment. Responsibilities include IT operations across endpoint and device management, identity and access management, incident response, and network and security architecture; oversee classified work infrastructure including secure environments, SCIF planning, and related controls; develop IT security protocols for international travel and export compliance; lead enterprise software implementation and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, mission operations, contracts, and innovation labs to enable operational efficiency.
