VP of Finance Operations

Job Summary
Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee the financial reporting process, including SEC filings such as 10-Ks and 10-Qs, and coordinate with auditors to validate data and support timely submissions. Lead the accounting department, manage budget and reforecasting processes, and build the team to support commercialization. Partner with executive management to deliver accurate financial information for strategic decision-making. Requires a CPA, 15+ years of experience, and biotech background; full-time office role Monday through Friday with availability for priority needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 15 plus years of progressive accounting experience
- Management experience
- Excellent business acumen
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proven success in communicating effectively with all levels of the organization
- Commercial and Global accounting experience
- Relevant experience in biotech
- Available outside of these hours to handle priority business needs
