Job Summary
Oversee and manage all budgets, forecasts, and internal financial plans, including multi-year projections. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to monitor cash flow and liquidity while conducting regular performance reporting. Maintain fixed asset schedules and manage the annual audit and Form 990 preparation. Direct compliance programs for state and federal agencies, oversee insurance renewals, and ensure financial controls across operational areas. Manage office facilities, technology, and equipment while acting as the primary staff liaison to the Board of Directors and Finance Committee. Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, and employee evaluations. This senior leadership role serves as a strategic partner to the President & CEO within a nonprofit dedicated to sports training for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of financial management experience within a nonprofit organization
- 5–8 years of accounting and finance experience with progressive responsibility
- Demonstrated experience working with external auditors and managing regulatory compliance
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Salesforce platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
