Job Summary
Lead accounting and financial operations for a manufacturing company as VP Finance/Controller. Hands-on leadership overseeing financial reporting, GAAP compliance, cost accounting, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, system enhancements, capital expenditures, inventory valuation, tax reporting, and audits. Build and develop the finance team, drive operational efficiency through ERP implementations and process improvements, manage relationships with bankers and public accounting firms, and provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or manufacturing environment
- Strong manufacturing/cost accounting expertise
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Track record of implementing process improvements and system enhancements
