Job Summary
Vice President/VP-led leadership for product and services in renovation and construction industries; drives development and management of current and future product and service solutions, identifies customer and market opportunities, and ensures ongoing success in meeting customer needs and financial goals. Oversees collaboration among internal and external teams and stakeholders to design, production, launch, and lifecycle management of solutions. Responsibilities include translating strategic direction into actionable plans, leading a product-engineering and service-resource team, shaping testing and certifications, coordinating with manufacturing for materials and production opportunities, and aligning with sales, marketing, finance to meet financial targets. Emphasizes ROI, market understanding, pricing strategy, and development of educational tools and training to drive product/service expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in construction, building products or related services leading product development, design, management or services development
- 5+ years of senior-level leadership
- Mechanical Engineering degree (background)
- Design skills with CAD and technology solutions; Solidworks preferred
- Manufacturing process experience or exposure across metals, plastics, composites, electronics, automation, assembly, quality, safety and testing
- Leadership and management experience; ability to direct a team, manage budgets and timelines
- Strong communication skills (visual, written, and oral)
- Strategic vision and data-driven decision making
