Job Summary
Engineer, construct, and maintain the Association's electric distribution system, directing design, line operations, and contractor performance to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective service delivery. Supervise assigned personnel and report to the VP of Engineering/COO. Maintain a valid driver's license and hold a Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license or Journeyman Lineman certification. Work a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off, reporting to Benton REA's West Richland office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible engineering or operations leadership experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that allows the incumbent to successfully perform the essential job functions
- Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Previously been a Journeyman Lineman as recognized by the IBEW
- Valid driver's license
