Job Summary
The Vice President of Construction Operations is a key executive responsible for directing nationwide construction activities to ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, and financial goals. Key responsibilities include setting strategic vision, overseeing contract administration, leading negotiations, managing risk, and driving project completion. The role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to mentor teams, enhance productivity, enforce compliance, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in construction management, engineering principles, and contract administration
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year
- Advanced degree preferred
- Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage large, complex portfolios
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Competency in managing Lump Sum, Unit Price, and Time & Material projects
- Ability to present effectively in project pursuits, interviews, and executive forums
