Job Summary
Oversee and manage contractual, regulatory, and accreditation compliance for all CHNY programs, including the Federally Qualified Health Center. Lead program audits by government funders, liaise with auditors on-site, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions. Develop compliance systems meeting City, State, and Federal requirements while creating annual work plans and policy libraries. Supervise Compliance Staff, providing regular supervision focused on accountability and professional development. Manage the CHNY Child Protection Officer, Incident Reporting system, and HIPAA Privacy Officer activities. Serve as the Health Center Compliance Officer, chairing the compliance committee, managing internal monitoring, and responding to subpoenas.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or graduate degree
- Law Degree
- 7 - 10 years of experience in the related field
- Staff management experience
- Project management experience
- Experience working in or with youth-serving and mission-driven organizations
- Highly organized
- Systems thinker
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to relate to youths
- Passion for serving the CHNY population
- Highly professional
- Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and federal, state, and local contract auditors
- Extremely discreet when working with sensitive and personal information
- Ability to remain calm while handling high-risk situations or crises
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Law Degree a plus
