Job Summary
VP, Northeast Region Distribution Leader responsible for serving as Vantage's primary market-facing leader in one of the most relationship-driven insurance markets. The role involves shaping how Vantage goes to market in the Northeast, influencing distribution strategy, planning and attending broker meetings (virtual or in-person), owning regional events end-to-end, identifying new business opportunities, growing broker and client relationships, and representing Vantage at industry events. The position requires strong broker/client relationships across the Northeast, a background in Property/Casualty insurance, cross-functional collaboration with underwriters and business units, and the ability to travel ~40% and operate in a hybrid NYC-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or similar or equivalent professional experience
- 8-15 years of Property / Casualty insurance, Distribution, Underwriting or Broking experience with a proven track record in sales development and new business production
- A visible presence and strong broker and client relationships across the Northeast market
- Strong knowledge of the insurance space, coverages, and understanding of systems
- A collaborative, team-first orientation that fits a "One Vantage" culture and a leadership presence in the New York office
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the executive presence to represent Vantage at the highest levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time to meet brokers, attend both industry and internal meetings and events, and maintain a strong regional presence
