Job Summary
VP of Retail Operations to own the strategy, execution, and scaling of Looma's retail deployment and support operations. Responsibilities include deployment planning, installation operations, field support, and ongoing maintenance programs; build systems, workflows, and metrics to improve efficiency, predictability, and quality; lead national rollouts across geographies and retail partners; create repeatable playbooks for installation, support, troubleshooting, and expansion; manage partnerships with hardware manufacturers, installation partners, electricians, and other vendors; lead and develop teams (Director of Implementation, Network Support Team, Field Operations Resources); drive operational dashboards, forecasting models, and reporting mechanisms; partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve deployment efficiency and field reliability; lead incident response and escalation management during critical deployments and retailer-facing initiatives; bring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a bias for ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of operations leadership experience
- experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment
- experience managing large-scale deployments of physical technology assets (digital signage, IoT devices, AV systems, networking infrastructure)
- demonstrated success creating operational systems and processes that scale
- experience leading cross-functional teams through rapid growth and change
- ability to build and manage third-party vendor and installation networks
- remote-friendly with ability to influence tooling, automation, and operational strategy
