Job Summary

VP National Sales responsible for the area’s execution of national sales programs, strategies, and priorities to maximize account penetration, sales growth, and margins within targeted contracts. Lead and coach a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and support staff to deliver a consultative selling process, drive profitable revenue, and ensure alignment with annual sales plans. Develop and manage the National Account portfolio, recruit and develop sales staff, participate in key customer opportunities, and coordinate performance reviews. Requires deep knowledge of the food-service industry, contract-driven selling, P&L awareness, travel, and strong leadership and communication skills to guide a high-performing sales organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in sales or sales management with at least 5 years in supervisory role
  • Experience in a contract-driven selling environment and in the food-service industry or related field preferred
  • Overnight travel may be required to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including presentation ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
