Job Summary
Lead national accounts in the grocery channel for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans driven by insights from market trends and the competitive landscape. Build annual sales and financial plans to drive profitable growth across assigned accounts; mentor and direct a headquarters team and collaborate with distributors, buyers, and internal partners to deliver win/win solutions. Manage relationships with retailers and distributors, and drive execution of chain plans in coordination with field sales. Travel approximately 50% primarily within the assigned sales territory. Requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), and 10+ years of wine industry experience with 5+ years in national account wine sales; strong analytics, stakeholder relationship skills, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- MBA or similar post-graduate business degree preferred
- Minimum 10-years of wine industry experience required
- 5+ years in national account wine sales preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to travel (approximately 50%), primarily within assigned sales territory
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies
