VP, Living Sector Finance

Job Summary

Originate, structure, and execute Real Estate Finance transactions across the Living Sector and Logistics in the UK and Europe. Identify and pursue financing opportunities with institutional sponsors and financial institution clients, leading end-to-end transaction execution from origination to financial close. Prepare credit applications, committee materials, and recommendations while conducting detailed financial analysis, cashflow modelling, and risk assessments. Coordinate due diligence with legal advisers, valuation providers, and technical consultants, then negotiate financing documentation with internal Legal teams and external counsel. Maintain oversight of transaction pipelines and provide regular updates to senior management on deal progression and business development activity.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience within Real Estate Finance, Commercial Real Estate Lending, Structured Finance, Investment Banking or a related discipline
  • Proven experience originating, structuring and executing commercial real estate financing transactions
  • Experience preparing credit applications, committee papers and obtaining internal credit approvals
  • Experience managing transaction due diligence, documentation and execution processes
  • Strong experience working with institutional sponsors, financial institutions and professional advisers
  • Experience of Living Sector asset classes, including PBSA, Build-to-Rent and/or Affordable Housing
  • Experience operating within a risk-controlled lending environment and working closely with Credit and Risk functions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business or a related discipline
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACA, MRICS or equivalent)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to contribute to the growth of a developing business
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to support broader team objectives

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
