Job Summary

Lead the strategic vision for land planning and entitlement operations across multiple jurisdictions; oversee the entitlement process from due diligence and feasibility through final platting, permitting, and regulatory approvals; build and guide a high-performing team of Directors, Managers, and planning professionals; serve as the executive representative with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to advocate for project approvals and resolve entitlement challenges; collaborate with Land Acquisition, Development, Legal, and Finance to integrate planning into the development lifecycle; review entitlement-related deal terms in Purchase Agreements and joint development agreements; monitor regional planning trends, zoning policies, and legislative developments to position the company for growth and mitigate entitlement risks; oversee HOA formation and governance for new communities; establish entitlement budgets, schedules, and performance metrics; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge of civil, geotechnical engineering and surveying
  • Land development/homebuilding construction experience
