Job Summary
Oversee global IT operations, infrastructure, and cloud services across AWS, Azure, and GCP, leading a multi-year modernization roadmap to transition critical workloads to an AWS-first architecture. Manage on-prem data centers in the US and Europe, stabilize legacy enterprise applications including Salesforce, Microsoft D365, and Oracle EPM/Planning, and enforce rigorous security, governance, and compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC 2, and GDPR. Lead and elevate a globally distributed team of approximately 80 personnel, transition high-value capabilities from outsourced partners back in-house, and serve as a trusted advisor to the CTO on long-range technology strategy within a highly regulated, 24/7 operational environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record leading large-scale IT organizations, ideally within highly regulated environments
- Track record leading large, distributed teams and inherited organizations in need of modernization
- Strong people leadership skills: developing talent, evaluating performance, setting high standards
- Deep operational experience across on-prem and hybrid infrastructures
- Demonstrated ability to run stable, secure, high-availability environments at scale
- Strong background owning and maturing enterprise applications
- Ability to drive process alignment, system integration, and cross-functional adoption
- Experienced leading enterprise governance and certifications (ISO, SOC 2, GDPR)
- Comfortable operating in highly regulated, data-rich industries
- History of inheriting teams and elevating performance through structure, accountability, and cultural refresh
- Effective at balancing continuity with transformation
- Brings fresh perspective without disrupting mission-critical operations
