Job Summary
Lead the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of the Credit Union's physical and logical technology foundation, including network engineering, compute, storage platforms, hybrid cloud environments (Microsoft Azure), and data centers. Direct and manage infrastructure and operations teams to execute multi-year roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy, while overseeing vendor management, contract negotiation, and total cost of ownership optimization. Ensure high availability and business continuity by developing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and enforce information security frameworks, standards, and controls across infrastructure platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a technical emphasis
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and operations, including leadership of multi-disciplinary technical teams
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering encompassing network, compute, storage, and cloud platforms in hybrid computing environments
- 8+ years in progressive leadership roles with direct people management responsibility
- 5+ years of experience in incident, problem, and change management processes
- Demonstrated experience with IT governance, technology standards development, and performance metrics management
- Experience in a regulated industry (financial services preferred) with working knowledge of applicable compliance and audit requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred)
- Lean/Agile experience and a continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with financial industry regulatory requirements (NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA, SOC 2) as they apply to infrastructure and operations
