Job Summary
The VP of AI Innovation - OCR/Image Recognition will lead the development and execution of next-generation AI-driven Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Image Recognition capabilities, focusing on data processing, extraction, and classification within the Retail/Consumer space. Responsibilities include defining the vision for OCR capabilities, driving innovation to enhance performance metrics, leading the development of scalable systems with high accuracy, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and deep expertise in OCR and Image processing technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the relevant field
- Experience in Retail, Consumer and/or related industry is required
- Demonstrated experience developing high throughput scalable systems with high degree of accuracy and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills, innovation driven, customer obsessed – entrepreneurial attitude and behavior
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in OCR and Image processing technologies
- Deep expertise in science/algorithms used for extraction and classification of data at scale
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience working with global distributed teams
