Job Summary
VP, IAM Assurance Leader responsible for leading the IAM Services Assurance function across centralized and decentralized IAM services, driving risk-based governance, control monitoring, and evidence automation to support SOX/PCI and regulatory obligations. Lead a team of seven, partner with Security Operations, Technology, Governance, Operational Risk, and Internal Audit; develop multi-year roadmaps and implement scalable assurance reporting capabilities; oversee design, validation, and remediation of IAM controls across directories (Active Directory, LDAP, Beyond Identity) and decentralized implementations; drive automation of control remediation, and ensure audit readiness and stakeholder communication. Requires deep IAM technical expertise, program management discipline, and strong cross-functional leadership to balance security controls with operational delivery.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or equivalent
- 10+ years IT experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading multiple IAM service products
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and improving IAM service processes and reporting on IAM service key controls
- Minimum 3 years leading operations or assurance teams
- At least 2 years working with Agile methodologies in roles such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Lead
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience (2+ engineers or contractors)
- Strong understanding of IAM systems (Active Directory, LDAP, Oracle LDAP)
- Experience with assurance reporting, control monitoring dashboards, and metrics platforms
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux Server Access Administration
- Experience with ServiceNow, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Beyond Trust/Bomgar, RSA Authentication Manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop long-term strategic roadmaps
- Experience with risk management and remediation
- Understanding of SOX, PCI, FFIEC, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST frameworks
