VP, HRIS (1-year Fixed Term Contract)

Job Summary
Manage and maintain HRIS systems, primarily SuccessFactors, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. Lead HRIS projects including business transformations, integrations, and process improvements through collaboration with cross-functional teams internationally. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize business disruption while supporting HR stakeholders with reporting and data analysis. Work independently and within agile project teams to deliver high-quality outputs within set deadlines, ensuring compliance with SMBC's policies and values. This role requires a 1-year fixed term contract based in Tokyo for a VP-level executive.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruitment/SmartRecruiters and Onboarding
- Strong analysis and sound judgment with the ability to leverage data insights to solve business issues
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience working within an agile project framework and delivering successful outcomes under pressure
- Competence in organizational and stakeholder engagement across multiple geographies and cultures

Desired Qualifications
