Job Summary
Lead revenue generation and business development for Welldoc’s Health Plan (Payer) vertical, cultivating executive relationships, navigating long enterprise sales cycles, and closing multi-year SaaS or technology-enabled contracts. Role requires 7+ years in health plan markets, strong negotiation and communication skills, mastery of MEDDPICC/Challenger Sales, and ability to travel to industry events; targets include commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans with focus on enterprise deals and revenue optimization. Education: BS/BA recommended; ISO/MDSAP/HITRUST environments experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree
- Active memberships in organizations such as ACHE, HFMA (preferred but not required)
- 7+ years of proven experience leading business growth in the Health Plan markets
- Documented history of closing multi-year SaaS or technology-enabled contracts with ACV/TCV > $1M
- Mastery of enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales)
- Ability to travel & represent Welldoc at industry events
