Job Summary
Strategic leadership of the residential property management division, including Directly supervising Regional Property Managers (RPMs) and driving occupancy, financial performance, compliance, and resident satisfaction across the portfolio. Collaborate with HR, Construction, Maintenance, Asset Management, Accounting, and Leasing to ensure operational alignment, implement budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations. Ensure adherence to housing regulations, safety standards, and company policies while pursuing initiatives to enhance leasing performance, operational efficiency, and portfolio value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Property Management, Real Estate, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive residential property management experience
- Minimum of 5 years managing Regional Property Managers or multi-site leadership teams
- Demonstrated experience overseeing large residential portfolios
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing operational metrics
- Thorough knowledge of Fair Housing, landlord-tenant laws, OSHA, and property management regulations
- Proven leadership, coaching, and change management experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with property management software (such as Yardi), Microsoft Office, and reporting systems
- Ability to travel regularly between residential communities
