Job Summary
As the Vice President, Growth, Strategy, and Donor Relations, you will serve as the chief architect of the donor experience during a transformative era for PolicyLink. You will lead the strategy and execution for a historic $1 billion, 10-year capital campaign, orchestrate donor engagement with institutional, corporate, and UHNW partners, design donor recognition and stewardship frameworks, and oversee high-level events and storytelling. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will manage a multi-faceted portfolio, supervise the Engagement & Events team, and coordinate cross-department efforts to ensure a cohesive donor experience aligned with the organization’s mission of equity and systemic change.
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of nonprofit development and senior leadership experience
- proven track record of architecting strategy and driving institutional growth
- proven success in securing sponsorships and investments at the $5 million+ scale
- strategic leadership of capital campaign readiness and high-net-worth engagement initiatives
- mastery of storytelling and communication for donor narratives
- ability to operate as an enterprise leader and align cross-department priorities
- experience engaging Board members and high-profile partners
- strong budgeting and governance skills
- commitment to equity, justice, and systemic change in mission-driven work
