Job Summary
VP, Global Programming responsible for defining and leading the creation of Sotheby’s flagship, always-on experiential programming worldwide. Designs and executes experiences across flagship locations, including exhibitions, artist/celebrity collaborations, and pop-up moments, to drive new and repeat traffic, introduce visitors to the Sotheby’s universe, and increase revenue through paid experiences and pop-up sales. Partners with Hospitality, Marketing, PR, Events, Partnerships, Retail, and Operations to grow awareness, acquire new clients, and increase client lifetime value. Establishes a global governance structure and KPIs to share impact; requires collaboration across local and global teams. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (MBA desired), 10+ years in programming/events/experiences/marketing and client engagement, and fluency in English; experience in museums, luxury, or hospitality is a plus. Base salary ranges from $150,000-$180,000 with discretionary bonus and benefits.
